1. Agreement and provider
These Terms of Use cover the CVBuilderKit app, website, and optional online resume services provided by the application provider identified on the App Store listing. Contact: support@cvbuilderkit.app. By using these services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using them.
The app license is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), unless a custom EULA is supplied with the app. These terms supplement that license for CVBuilderKit services and do not replace it or limit mandatory consumer rights. Apple’s usage rules, including applicable Family Sharing rights, remain applicable.
2. Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in the resumes, photos, and other materials you provide. You give us permission to process and transmit content to service providers only as needed to provide features you request, operate and secure the service, and meet legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy. This does not transfer ownership of your resume to us.
Only import or submit information you own or have permission to use and share. A publicly accessible profile is not automatically permission to reuse another person’s information. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of your content.
3. AI features and responsibility for results
Optional online import, review, and generation transmit content to our backend and its configured AI providers. Read the Privacy Policy before submitting documents. Online AI features are intended for users aged 18 or older and are subject to provider availability and applicable regional restrictions.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or similar to output supplied to others. Check every imported or generated field before saving, exporting, or relying on it. Do not present invented employment, qualifications, or achievements as facts. We do not guarantee that generated content is unique or eligible for copyright protection.
CVBuilderKit is a document tool. It does not guarantee interviews, employment, recruiter decisions, or parsing and ranking results in any applicant tracking system. Company research and writing suggestions are informational.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to impersonate others, violate privacy or intellectual property rights, submit unlawful material, distribute malicious content, or interfere with other users or infrastructure. Do not bypass App Attest, quotas, rate limits, or other security controls, or use the backend as an unauthorized general-purpose AI service.
Restrictions on copying, redistribution, modification, and reverse engineering of the app are subject to the Standard EULA, applicable law, and any relevant open-source licenses.
5. Availability, storage, and costs
Manual editing and PDF export work locally. iCloud synchronization and AI features depend on network access and external services and may be delayed, limited, or unavailable. AI request limits may apply. Maintain independent exports or backups of important documents.
Manual editing, templates, iCloud sync, and unlimited PDF exports remain free. Your documents stay editable and exportable after cancellation or allowance exhaustion.
One successful import and one useful AI review are free, once per verified App Store identity, including existing users. Import a PDF, photo, scan, or public link. Failed operations do not count. A delivered import draft counts even if you discard it; an empty review does not.
CVBuilderKit AI is an optional monthly subscription. The current local price is shown in the app and App Store purchase sheet before you subscribe. Further imports and reviews, plus tailored generation, use the monthly subscription allowance.
30 successful AI operations per billing month, shared across imports, reviews, and tailored generation. Unused operations do not roll over.
Monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in App Store subscriptions. No automatic free trial.
Open Settings > CVBuilderKit AI to restore purchases or manage your subscription with the same Apple Account. Reinstalling or using another device does not renew the free introduction. Canceling stops future renewals; paid access continues until the paid period ends. Refunds and revocations may end paid access earlier. During an Apple billing grace period, the current allowance stays available without resetting. Abuse limits are separate from your subscription.
Apple processes payments and refund requests. Deleting the app or its data does not cancel a subscription. Request refunds through reportaproblem.apple.com; eligibility is determined by Apple and applicable consumer law. No annual plan, credit packs, or automatically renewing free trial are offered at launch.
Deleting app data or uninstalling does not automatically delete exported documents, iCloud backups, service logs, or provider records. See the Privacy Policy for the scope of deletion.
6. Changes and suspension
We may update features or limit or suspend online access to address abuse, security incidents, legal requirements, or service availability. We will provide notice of material changes where required by law. You may stop using the service at any time. App-license termination is governed by the applicable EULA.
Revised terms will be posted with an updated date. Where notice or agreement is legally required, we will provide or obtain it; merely posting revised terms does not override that requirement.
7. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and online services are provided as available without a promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular hiring outcome. The applicable EULA sets out additional warranty and liability terms.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections. These terms do not take away rights to which you are entitled under the laws that apply to you.
